Today Dustin came and fixed the grade and filed in garage. Also did the drain pipe for foundation. Oh yeah... Dropped about $3k+ on gravel.... Zzzzzz.
Hipolito did the stairs.. Awesome!! He framed in the second floor too.
We had to do a lot of work this morning moving stuff around on the lot. Mark brought over the drainage pipe today too.
Lots done. Should be able to pour the garage tomorrow and front porch.
Volunteer concrete did the water proofing Friday. Took the weekend off. Framing to start Tuesday.
We have block finally. Had some skirmish with excavator but I guess it's all good. Met with crazy concrete guy today. Drained the foundation again. Nice.
Not the most fun I've ever had. Not to mention the fact that it downpoured on me. Haha. This week probably can't start block. Supposed to rain all week.
We talked to Pella windows today. They are beautiful but we probably can't spend the extra money. We will probably go cheap and dress things up.
Shan talked to trusses today and worked things out.
Dustin dug out the site more for the basement. We are feeling more and more at ease.
Today we found that our lot was backfilled. We just found that we have $10k of extra costs. We had to fill about 12 feet with flow fill from concrete company.
We are thinking about basement now. We are checking with architect about truss spanning.
